AMI Trained Guides (Middle School)

The International Montessori School (IMS) in Hong Kong, a pioneering bilingual institution with over 1,000 students and 75 AMI-trained professionals, invites applications for a Middle School Adolescent Guide (Ages 12-14). We seek a visionary educator to join our interdisciplinary team in our unique, inquiry-based programme.

The successful candidate will facilitate student-centred learning in Humanities/English, Mathematics/Humanities, or Mathematics/English.

Responsibilities:

• Design rigorous project-based curricula aligned with Montessori scientific pedagogy
• Differentiate instruction according to learning styles and key observations
• Use holistic assessments to track student progress
• Oversee student-run business
• Provide holistic pastoral care through our advisory framework.
  

Qualifications:

• AMI 12-18 Diploma preferred; Bachelor’s degree mandatory (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching credential and 3+ years of secondary Montessori or project-based learning experience.
• Expertise in differentiated instruction and adolescent neurobiology.
