Adolescent Lead Guide

Mead Montessori School is seeking a trained adolescent guide to join our teaching team for the 2026/27 school year. We have a strong and dedicated existing team and an established program. Ideal candidates possess a math and science background and are comfortable and proficient to teach math to the adolescent aged child. 

We are a thriving community of dedicated Montessorians and supportive parents. Mead Montessori School is located on one acre of land and connected to 150 acres of wilderness owned by a neighboring nature center. Weekly hikes and endless nature opportunities abound!

Qualifications

• Adolescent Montessori training (or in process)
• Bachelor's Degree
• Love of learning and ability to work collaboratively within a team. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to lead classroom communications via email and newsletters. 
• Strong math and science background
• Strong understanding and appreciation for the adolescent age group.
